We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Document Field Specialist to manage all government-related documentation processes for our Chinese staff. This role serves as the primary liaison with the Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC), Immigration Office, and Fayda-ID Center. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of local labor and immigration regulations, ensuring full compliance and the seamless processing of work permits, visas, and national IDs.

•  Be responsible for on-site submission of documents at the Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC), Immigration Office and Fayda-ID Center, handling the application, renewal and cancellation of work permits and Fayda-ID for Chinese staff.
• Pre-check and organize application materials before visiting government authorities to avoid failed visits due to incomplete documents.
• Communicate and coordinate with government officers on-site, respond to document inquiries, supplement materials and resolve approval rejection issues.
• Track the progress of all permit applications, regularly follow up on approval status and update the HR supervisor and Office Director in a timely manner.
• Maintain a complete document ledger to record the expiry date of each staff’s permits and all processing milestones.
• Collect, file and archive all official receipts and approval documents; distribute original permits to employees after completion.
• Assist with visa extension and related employment registration matters required by local labor authorities.
• Complete other field HR assignments arranged by the HR Supervisor.
