Job Details
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school's curriculum and academic standards.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes effective learning.
  • Assess, monitor, and evaluate pupils' academic progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom resources.
  • Foster pupils' intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development.
  • Promote positive behaviour, discipline, and respect through effective classroom management.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils.
  • Integrate appropriate teaching resources and technology into classroom instruction.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding pupils' academic progress and well-being.
  • Support the school in promoting character development by modelling integrity, responsibility, kindness, respect, and excellence.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, training programmes, school events, and extracurricular activities.
  • Comply with the school's safeguarding, health, safety, and child protection policies.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of an NCE in education or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years' teaching experience in a nursery or primary school.
  • Experience teaching the British Curriculum is an added advantage.
  • Excellent classroom management and lesson delivery skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good ICT proficiency.
  • TRCN certification or registration is an added advantage.
  • Passion for teaching, child development, and values-based education.

Location: Benin City, Edo 

Remuneration: NGN 80,000 - 150,000 Monthly
