We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Senior Construction/Project Manager to lead the construction and engineering governance of a major High Voltage (HV) Substation Project supporting a large copper mining operation.
This is a senior site leadership role responsible for coordinating a workforce of 200+ construction personnel, managing contractors, ensuring design compliance, and overseeing construction, commissioning, and project delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 15 years' experience in engineering, construction, or project management.
- Proven experience on HV substation, power distribution, or electrical infrastructure projects.
- Strong mining, industrial, or heavy infrastructure project background.
- Demonstrated experience managing large site-based construction teams.
- Experience overseeing engineering design governance during project execution.
- Commissioning and energisation experience highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead site construction activities and contractor management.
- Ensure engineering designs are implemented in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Coordinate engineering, construction, quality, safety, and commissioning activities.
- Drive project delivery, schedule adherence, and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
