Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly technical ELV IT System Support specialist to manage our integrated smart building and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between traditional IT networking and physical security systems, ensuring maximum uptime, system security, and smooth end-user operations across all ELV and IT platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain ELV hardware and software, including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarms, Public Address PA systems, and Structured Cabling
- Manage IP-based security devices, configure routers/switches, and troubleshoot local area networks LAN/Wi-Fi powering ELV systems
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software faults or connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in system integrations, testing, and commissioning of new low-voltage projects and smart building upgrades
- Provide technical orientation and ongoing support to staff or clients for installed ELV applications and IT equipment.
- Keep records of repairs / maintenance schedule.
- Analyse trends for reporting and decison making purpose.
Education / Skills / Experience
- B.Sc in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting IT networks and ELV security systems.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and IT hardware servers, switches, and storage.
- Familiarity with CCTV IP/Analog, VMS Video Management Software, Access Control panels, and intercom systems.
- Excellent diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users
