Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for microcontroller- and processor-based systems.
Develop firmware in C/C++ for real-time embedded applications.
Implement, test, and debug embedded software on target hardware platforms.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with electronic designs and system architectures.
Develop and execute unit, integration, and system-level testing to ensure software reliability and performance.
Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including software specifications, design documents, and test reports.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and quality requirements.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum 3 years' experience in embedded software development
Strong proficiency in C and/or C++ programming
Experience working with ARM Cortex-M or similar microcontrollers
Solid understanding of embedded systems, electronics, and digital interfaces
Experience using version control systems such as Git
Familiarity with debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analysers)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams
