Department: ICU Ward Job Type: Permanent Location: Northern Suburbs (Cape Town) Introduction: As an Enrolled Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you provide crucial bedside care to critically ill patients under a Registered Nurse's guidance. Your role involves managing complex monitoring systems and offering essential support, making it both challenging and rewarding as you aid in the recovery of those in need. Key Responsibilities - Manage patient admissions to the ward efficiently. - Oversee general ward administration tasks. - Maintain accurate records and report to relevant personnel. - Handle stock charging for patients and staff. - Provide quality health services to patients and visitors. - Mentor and guide nursing assistants effectively. - Identify and address training needs for nursing assistants. - Comply with the company uniform policy consistently. - Report on/off duty to the sister in charge before leaving. - Uphold hospital policies, protocols, and professional standards.
