We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in abnormal load transportation and cross-border logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately preparing transport quotations, route planning, cost calculations, permit requirements, and ensuring all operational and regulatory factors are considered when pricing transport projects.

• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for abnormal load and cross-border transport projects. 
• Calculate transport costs, including permits, escorts, toll fees, fuel, accommodation, and border-related expenses. 
• Assess route requirements and identify potential challenges, restrictions, and risks. 
• Liaise with clients to obtain all necessary information for quotations and project planning. 
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure estimates are practical and achievable. 
• Research and obtain permit requirements for abnormal loads within South Africa and neighbouring countries. 
• Monitor transport regulations, road restrictions, and border requirements affecting operations. 
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, costing models, and project documentation. 
• Assist in tender submissions and large-scale transport project pricing. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, permit authorities, and industry stakeholders.
