About the Experienced Customs Clerks Jobs in Lusaka As an integral member of our customs operations, you will be responsible for managing customs declarations and transit entries using ASYCUDAWorld, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.

This full-time role demands precision, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders including the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA), transporters, and clients. Key Responsibilities Process customs declarations and transit entries accurately using ASYCUDA Prepare, verify, and maintain customs documentation and electronic records Manage transit clearance procedures and related customs processes Capture and submit data precisely to ensure compliance Follow up on customs entries and clearance progress Coordinate communication between ZRA, transporters, clients, and other relevant parties Support the Customs Manager in daily clearance operations Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a Customs Clerk or Customs Declarant Strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience with ASYCUDAWorld Familiarity with transit declarations and customs clearance processes Excellent computer literacy and aptitude for learning new systems quickly High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Effective communication and organizational skills Previous experience in customs clearing or freight forwarding is advantageous Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of ASYCUDA, demonstrate confidence in handling customs documentation, and take full ownership of their responsibilities without requiring constant oversight.
