Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (Expert) to support a high-performance computing environment focused on CAD and engineering services.
The role involves managing automation, cloud infrastructure, and system stability across a complex enterprise environment. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions while ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Ansibleplaybooks and automation solutions
- Manage and operate Ansible AutomationPlatform (Tower/AWX)
- Deploy and manage workloads on AWSand Azure
- Implement and maintain Infrastructureas Code (Terraform)
- Perform Linux system administrationand lifecycle management
- Manage version control using GitHuband branching strategies
- Monitor system performance and ensurestability, scalability, and cost optimization
- Maintain accurate documentation andknowledge base content
- Manage incident, problem, and changeprocesses (ITSM)
- Collaborate with stakeholders andsupport automation adoption
- Coordinate external contractors andsupport operational meetings
- Ensure compliance with securitystandards and manage vulnerabilities
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members
Requirements
Essential Skills
- Strong experience with Ansible Core& Automation Platform
- Strong knowledge of AWS and Azurecloud platforms
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu,SLES)
- Experience with Terraform (IaC)
- Proficiency in GitHub / versioncontrol systems
- Strong scripting skills (Bash,Python, Perl)
- Knowledge of network protocols (NFS,CIFS, SSH, DNS, NTP)
- Experience with storage and mountingtechnologies (Autofs, DFS)
- Strong documentation andcommunication skills
- Experience with Jira and Confluence

- Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Virtualisation (VMware) and PrivateCloud
- Windows Server administration
- Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Grafana)
- Logging tools (Splunk)

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Information Systems orrelated field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Ansible Automation Platform
- Linux systems
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Terraform (IaC)
- Experience with GitOps practices
- Relevant certifications(advantageous):
- RHCSA / RHCE
- Ansible certifications
