JOB OVERVIEW

Chamulimba Farms is an expanding agricultural farm located approximately 30 km after Chongwe and engaged in irrigated crop production.

The farm operates throughout the year and focuses on disciplined crop management, irrigation, crop protection, fertiliser application and good agricultural practices.

The successful candidate will be based at the farm and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of crops and farm activities, including supervising labour, monitoring irrigation, coordinating planting and fertilisation, managing weeds and crop protection, maintaining farm records and ensuring that farm operations are carried out efficiently and on schedule.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable and capable of working independently without constant supervision. This is a resident farm position, and the ability to take ownership of the farm's day-to-day performance is essential.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years' practical experience — mandatory.
• Experience in crop management and pesticide application.
• Knowledge of farm operations and crop protection.
• Must provide reliable references.
• Must be responsible, hardworking and able to work independently.
• Willing to be based at the farm.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or higher in Agriculture or a related field.
