Job Summary
The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for driving product availability, visibility, and sales across supermarkets in Lagos. The role focuses on expanding coverage, ensuring proper stocking, raising purchase orders, monitoring shelf presence, and following up on payments from retail outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned supermarkets regularly to ensure product availability and visibility.
- Secure product listings in new supermarkets and maintain strong relationships with existing outlets.
- Raise and follow up on Purchase Orders POs from stores.
- Ensure correct product placement, pricing, and shelf arrangement in line with merchandising standards.
- Track stock levels, identify replenishment needs, and prevent stockouts.
- Push for timely payments from supermarkets and support the reconciliation of outstanding invoices.
- Conduct product activations and in-store promotions when required.
- Resolve any issues raised by supermarket staff regarding deliveries, pricing, or product performance.
Requirements
- HND/B.Sc. in any relevant field.
- Must have completed NYSC
- 1-3 years experience in FMCG field sales, supermarket merchandising, or modern trade operations is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Good knowledge of Lagos supermarket landscape.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be proactive, persuasive, and results-driven.
Working Conditions
- Primarily field-based across Lagos supermarkets.
- May involve weekend engagements depending on store schedules.
