Job Summary:

  • As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business leads, building relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth in a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other prospecting techniques.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Calls and Presentations: Conduct sales calls and presentations to customers and prospects to demonstrate products and services.
  • Territory Management: Manage and prioritize sales activities within a designated territory to achieve sales targets.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, including sales pipeline updates and customer feedback.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Sales Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sales experience: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a field sales role.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Time management and organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of organization.
  • Product knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and understand products and services.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
  • Bachelor's degree: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Business, Marketing, or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Marketing.

Working Conditions:

  • Travel: Frequent travel within a designated territory, potentially up to 80% of the time.
  • Work environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Performance Metrics:

  • Sales revenue: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Customer acquisition: Acquire new customers and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Customer satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales forecasting accuracy: Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
