Qualifications/personal attributes:

A+, N+ (required)
MCSE / MCSA or similar
NSE 4 – nice to have
Sophos Firewall Certified Engineer V22 - advantageous
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong problem resolution skills are essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable car.

Experience required:

4-5+ years proven experience in IT Support
Desktop support and windows systems administration
Extensive experience with Windows server administration and server management, networking, backups, hosting and cloud infrastructure, firewalls/routing
Networking – good understanding of network protocols including VLAN ,TCPIP, DHCP etc and infrastructure (network switches including wireless services, Access Points etc), WAN, LAN, VLAN, VPN and Wireless
Basic firewall configuration (ideally FortiGate, Sophos or Mikrotik)
Voice/VoIP/Hosted PBX experience
Proficiency in implementing and managing backup solutions
MS 365 – installing from scratch, troubleshooting and maintenance, experience with Tenant and Admin Centre would be a bonus
Exposure to Azure & VMware or HyperV would be an advantage
