Financial Control & Billing Operations

Manage the full billing cycle, ensuring accurate and timeous monthly invoicing for all corporate and residential guarding contracts in strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Drive aggressive debt collection strategies and maintain an updated debtors’ age analysis to optimize company cash flow.
Reconcile supplier statements (including uniform manufacturers, fuel providers, and fleet maintenance workshops) and oversee accounts payable.
Manage operations-critical petty cash and field funds for emergency deployments, rapid response logistics, and site provisions.

Corporate Compliance & Taxation

Ensure absolute compliance with corporate tax structures, managing the calculation and timeous submission of ZIMRA corporate taxes, QPDs (Quarterly Payment Dates), and Withholding Tax.
Coordinate with the external/group payroll function or HR department to ensure general corporate compliance allocations align perfectly with statutory bodies.
Prepare detailed financial reports, expenditure variances, and reconciliations for management review and external audit preparation.

Logistics, Licensing & Administration

Maintain a robust asset register, strictly tracking high-value security equipment, communications gear, fuel usage, and response vehicles.
Administer the timely renewal of company security operating licenses, vehicle licensing (ZINARA), and tracking documentation for corporate firearm certificates.
Govern administrative supplier contracts and oversee the procurement and distribution tracking of guard uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Professional progress in ACCA, CIMA, or CIS is highly advantageous.
Experience: A minimum of 2 to 4 years of progressive accounting and administrative experience, with a definitive, proven track record within a private security company.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in standard accounting software (e.g., Sage Pastel or QuickBooks) and exceptional MS Excel skills for data modeling and ledger reconciliations.
Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Zimbabwean Companies and Other Business Entities Act, ZIMRA tax frameworks, and general administrative compliance in the security sector.
Attributes: Exceptional integrity, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to maintain rigid financial controls within a fast-paced, fluid operational environment.
