- The Finance Business Partner Tiki is a high-impact, analytical role positioned at the intersection of Finance, Product, and Strategy. Unlike traditional accounting roles, this position is focused on the economics of cross-border movement. You will serve as a strategic navigator for the business, translating complex transaction data into actionable insights to optimize profitability, manage FX risk, and drive successful expansion into new global corridors.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering & Pricing
- Expansion Advisory: Provide robust financial modeling and feasibility studies for entering new countries, corridors, and payment routes
- Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to design competitive pricing models for transfer fees and FX spreads
- Campaign ROI: Analyze the impact of marketing spend and customer incentives, ensuring that every dollar spent drives sustainable growth
Revenue & Unit Economics
- Revenue Deep-Dives: Deconstruct revenue streams Transfer Fees vs. FX Margins to identify growth bottlenecks
- Unit Economics: Build and maintain a real-time monitoring framework for unit economics, tracking performance by transaction type, country, and customer segment
FX & Treasury Analytics
- Exposure Management: Partner with Treasury to monitor FX exposure and currency positions across all operating geographies
- Volatility Analysis: Conduct "what-if" analyses to measure the impact of FX volatility on margins and overall firm profitability
.Cost Optimization & Operational Efficiency
- Supply Chain Costing: Monitor and audit costs associated with payment switches, APIs, and payout partner fees banks, wallets, agents
- CAC Efficiency: Rigorously track Customer Acquisition Costs CAC to ensure marketing ROI remains within target margins
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Driver-Based Modeling: Develop and own the master financial model Transaction Volume × Fee × FX Margin
- Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, utilizing scenario analysis to prepare for FX shocks, regulatory shifts, or competitive pricing changes
MIS & Performance Reporting
- Dashboard Ownership: Own the weekly/monthly performance dashboards, providing visibility into
- Corridor-wise profitability
- Cost-per-transaction metrics
- Revenue stream health
- Executive Reporting: Prepare high-level financial data and business narratives for the Board and Executive Management BRM
7. Compliance & Process Automation
- Control Governance: Drive the automation of reporting and reconciliation flows; implement "revenue leak" detection controls.
- Regulatory Support: Support the finance team in maintaining adherence to cross-border payment regulations and preparing data for regulatory audits/submissions

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CFA or currently pursuing is highly preferred.
- Experience: 4–6 years in Financial Planning & Analysis FP&A, Business Partnering, or Treasury Analytics within a FinTech or Cross-Border Payment firm.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced Financial Modeling: Expert in building complex, driver-based models in Excel.
- Data Visualization: Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to visualize payment flows.
- Systems: Familiarity with SQL or experience working with large datasets from payment switches/API providers.
- Attributes: A "commercial mindset"—you don't just report numbers; you understand the business levers that make them move.
