Our client, a well-established organisation within the IT industry, is seeking a Finance Consultant to support and enhance its finance function. The successful candidate will combine strong technical accounting knowledge with a passion for technology to improve financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and optimise finance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial reports and management information.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Identify and implement process improvements through technology, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Support the optimisation and maintenance of finance systems and processes.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

• BCom Degree in Accounting.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Experience within the IT industry.
• Previous management or team leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience strengthening financial controls and improving finance processes.

Skills:

• Advanced ERP Systems knowledge
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of technology, automation, and AI within the finance environment.
