Finance Officer

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Position Title: Finance OfficerExperience Required: Minimum 5 YearsEmployment Type: Full Time Job Summary We, Windows of Green Africa limited, are seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Officer to manage financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support effective financial planning and control. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, monitoring budgets, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, accounts, and supporting documentation. Manage daily accounting transactions, including payments, receipts, reconciliations, and ledger entries. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and financial forecasting. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and organizational policies. Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Review invoices, expenses, and financial transactions for accuracy and authorization. Provide financial advice and support to management when required. Maintain confidentiality of financial information. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting roles. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Fluency in both English and Kiswahili (spoken and written) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
