Job description
Finance Officer – 2 Positions
Right to Care Zambia is recruiting Finance Officers for Chinsali and Kasama districts. The positions report to the Accountant.
Minimum Requirements
- Part CA Zambia or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience.
- Paid-up membership of ZICA.
- NGO or donor-funded programme experience is desirable.
Added Advantages
- A relevant degree or ACCA, CIMA or ZICA professional qualification.
- Experience with Sage Pastel Evolution.
- Three to four years’ accounting and finance experience covering cashbooks, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify payment requests and supporting documents.
- Manage payables, receivables, petty cash and statutory payments.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, journals and month-end records.
- Maintain audit-ready financial files and support reporting.
