Job Purpose
The Financial Accountant will manage the full accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and the integrity of financial data. The role supports strategic decision-making through financial analysis, robust controls, and timely management accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & General Ledger

Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate processing of all financial transactions.

Monitor financial performance and analyse variances and trends.
Accounts Receivable & Cash Management

Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, statements, and overdue account follow-ups.

Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations.
Payroll
Reconciliations & Controls

Prepare and review bank, supplier, and intercompany account reconciliations.

Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Tax & Statutory Compliance
Fixed Assets
Audit & Budgeting Support
Data Integrity & Financial Governance

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information.

Support continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience:

3–5 years in a similar Financial Accountant role.

Proven experience in full accounting function.

Experience with payroll systems is preferred.
