The Financial Accountant provides financial and administrative support to ensure the accurate recording of financial transactions, effective cash flow management, statutory compliance, and operational efficiency across the company. The role plays a key part in supporting the Company's manufacturing operations through accurate costing, inventory control, financial reporting, and strong financial controls, while providing timely financial information to support operational and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Financial Accounting & General Ledger Accounts Receivable (Debtors) Accounts Payable (Creditors) Treasury & Cash Management Inventory & Cost Accounting Financial Reporting & Analysis Tax & Statutory Compliance Payroll Support Internal Controls & Audit ERP, Systems & Process Improvement Commercial & Operational Finance Support General Administration Health, Safety & Compliance Minimum Requirements: BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification. 3+ years' relevant accounting experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment advantageous. Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, VAT and payroll. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Xero or ERP/accounting systems.
