About the Financial Accountant Role As a Financial Accountant at Camel Oil, you will play a vital role in managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
The position demands a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Key Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CIMA, ZICA, or equivalent. Active membership with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) is required.
At least five years of progressive experience in accounting roles. Experience in manufacturing, mining, or related industries is preferred.
Previous work experience in a multicultural company environment is advantageous. Technical Skills and Personal Attributes Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software such as SAP, Sage, Pastel, or QuickBooks.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High ethical standards with a professional approach to work. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and meet strict deadlines.
