Job Summary
The Food Technologist is responsible for ensuring the production of safe, high-quality cashew products in compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements. The role oversees production and packaging processes, implements product formulations, maintains quality standards, and ensures accurate documentation of all production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and company quality standards.
- Oversee cashew production and packaging operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and product quality.
- Implement and monitor ingredient formulations for various product variants.
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and batch documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train production staff on food safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, or food processing.
- Knowledge of food safety systems such as GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and documentation skills.
