We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join a growing health technology company serving clients across Africa. This role will play a key part in building, maintaining, and improving the company's technology platform while supporting continued growth and innovation.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of technical execution, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities

• Lead full stack software development initiatives across the platform.
• Design, build, maintain, and enhance scalable web applications and internal systems.
• Develop and support both front-end and back-end functionality.
• Collaborate with leadership and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues efficiently.
• Improve system performance, reliability, security, and user experience.
• Support integrations, APIs, databases, and platform enhancements.
• Contribute to product improvements based on client feedback and operational needs.
• Maintain clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Communicate project progress, timelines, and potential blockers effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, or similar role.
• Strong expertise across both front-end and back-end development.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable web applications.
• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, system architecture, and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to independently manage projects from planning through deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within HealthTech, SaaS, AI, or other technology-driven businesses.
• Experience supporting software products across multiple countries or regions.
• Experience working with distributed or fully remote teams.
• Previous experience in a technical lead or ownership-focused role.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and modern deployment workflows.
