About the Role
- The Fundraising & Grant Officer will be responsible for identifying and securing funding opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals, and building lasting relationships with donors, sponsors, and grant-making bodies to sustain and grow the Foundation’s work.
Ideal Candidate
- Has experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor engagement in the non-profit or development sector.
- Has strong written communication skills and can craft persuasive, well-structured proposals
- Is knowledgeable about philanthropy, donor engagement, and the funding landscape for health-focused NGOs
- Has excellent organisational and networking skills
- Is proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple funding pipelines simultaneously
- Is passionate about equity, child health, and making impact in low-resource settings
- A background or interest in congenital heart disease or global health is a strong advantage
- A degree in Non-Profit Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferre
