Key Responsibilities of the Funds Finance Officer Process pension transactions accurately within the accounting system and perform timely bank reconciliations.
Conduct financial analysis to assess pension scheme performance. Ensure prompt submission of high-quality quarterly statutory returns to regulatory authorities.
Provide sound technical advice to the Board of Trustees on financial and investment matters related to pension fund operations. Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and statements to the Board of Trustees.
Review investment portfolios of client funds to ensure compliance with regulations and scheme investment policies. Qualifications and Competencies Required Full Grade 12 certificate with at least five credits at ‘O’ level.
Degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or CIMA. Two to four years of relevant accounting experience.
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent customer relations.
Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with SAGE accounting software is an advantage. Valid ZAQA certification for all qualifications.
