Gardener

Job Description

• We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Gardener to join our team and help maintain a clean, beautiful, and welcoming environment.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day gardening tasks and ensuring the school grounds remain in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Mowing lawns, trimming flowers, pruning plants, and general landscape maintenance.
• Dressing flower beds, weeding, watering, and sweeping assigned areas.
• Monitoring plant health and reporting or replacing damaged plants.
• Planting, nurturing, and maintaining flowers, shrubs, and lawns.
• Applying insecticides, herbicides, and other treatments for routine fumigation.
• Ensuring the school environment is neat, tidy, and well-kept at all times.
• Supporting seasonal planting plans and upkeep schedules

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or OND
• 1–3 years of experience in a gardening or groundskeeping role
• Good knowledge of plants, flowers, garden tools, and basic landscaping
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Hardworking, reliable, and physically fit.

Salary & Benefits

• N80,000 monthly gross, depending on experience
• HMO, Pension, and other incentives.
