Vacant Position: General Assistant – Workshop

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the health and safety rules and protocols as prescribed.
• Cleaning of workshop area, warehouse floors, equipment and keeping area tidy.
• Maintenance: performing routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Record keeping: maintain records of inventory and work performed.
• Communication with supervisors and other team members.
• Reporting: report on any deviation noted.
• Housekeeping: maintain proper housekeeping of the area.
• Able to work shifts and/or overtime.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Grade 12 or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Experience in open cast mining/workshop will be an added advantage.
• Valid driver’s license (Code 10).
• Knowledge of MHSA work regulations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Pass the medical fitness test.
