Role Summary

  • The General Manager is the Company's chief operating leader in Nigeria.
  • This role owns the P&L for the entire B2B operation.
  • The GM is responsible for planning, budgeting, variance tracking, and dashboard reporting across all KPIs and OKRs.
  • The GM directly covers the Oyo, Osun, Ondo, and Edo territories for business development while providing supervisory oversight of all other territories.
  • This is not an administrative role.

This person must be a hands-on builder who can sell, manage a credit portfolio, lead a team, and report to a demanding board with data and precision.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site General Manager role based in Ibadan.

  • The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, including managing teams, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that local activities align with RxAll’s strategic objectives and performance targets. This role will be responsible for driving commercial growth, managing relationships with hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers, and other partners, and ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • The General Manager will monitor key performance indicators, manage budgets, and coordinate with product, finance, and technology teams to implement initiatives that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role also includes responsibility for compliance with relevant regulations, risk management, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must show proof of having held a pan-Nigeria General Management responsibility with P&L functions for at least 3 years
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Pharmacy, or related field. MBA or Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales management, general management, or operations leadership.
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior leadership role managing a P&L of N100M+ annually.
  • Proven track record in pharmaceutical distribution, FMCG, microfinance, fintech, or trade credit.
  • Experience managing field sales teams of 30+ people across multiple states in Nigeria.
  • Fluent in English and Yoruba. Pidgin is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, CRM tools, and dashboard/BI tools.
  • Must own or have access to a reliable vehicle for field visits. Official Vehicle is to be provided on completion of reference, guarantors and background checks

  • P&L Management: Maintain 5%+ gross margin on all disbursements
  • New Customer Acquisition: 1,300 cumulative new customers by Dec 2026
  • Customer Retention: 95%+ monthly active customer retention rate
  • Default Rate: Get to 0.5% by Dec 2026
  • Collection Rate: Achieve 99%+ collection rate by Dec 2026
  • NPL Ratio: Q2 max 2.5%, Q3 max 1.5%, Q4 max 1.0%
  • Weekly KPI dashboard delivered to CEO every Monday by 10am WAT
  • Monthly variance report budget vs. actual delivered by 5th business day
  • Legacy Debt: Support recovery of N100M portfolio by Q4
  • Team Performance: 95%+ daily attendance, <15% voluntary turnover in 90 days
