Our client has an exciting opportunity for a GM in the Public Sector

Requirements:

  • 4 years tertiary qualification in Commerce or equivalent.
  • Having a MBA or Masters would be an advantage.
  • Sales accreditation will be an advantage.
  • 10+ years’ experience in sales with 5 years’ experience in sales leadership for the Public Enterprises.
  • Good decisional strategies.
  • Mental agility to understand complicated business challenges.
  • Drive ethical business practices by holding others accountable.
  • Build relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Be able to work flexible work hours.
  • Be available to attend functions after hours.
  • Valid driver's license and your own transport.
  • Valid transport and be available to travel locally and internationally.
  • Be available to travel.

KPAs:

  • For Large Enterprises:
    • Meet budget and revenue targets.
    • Meet and exceed market share expectations.
    • Meet and exceed targets for new sales.
    • Meet and exceed targets for new mobile sales.
    • Exceed Customer Satisfaction.
  • Meet EE targets as per required for the year.
  • Achieving sales targets.
  • Ensure satisfactory client experience.
  • Be the overall custodian for customer engagement.
  • Develop sales strategies.
  • Effectively manage budgets.
  • Ensure timely sales and forecasts.
  • Lead, develop and coach the public sales team.
  • Improve employee engagement.
  • Build a professional public sales team.
  • Meet annual equity targets.
  • Ensure team compliance.
  • Develop and drive the execution of agreed projects.

  • Perform business analysis in line with the methodology and guidelines.
