Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that support the company's objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end  recruitment, selection, onboarding, and talent management processes.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to meet current and future workforce needs.
  • Drive employee engagement, welfare, performance management, and retention initiatives.
  • Develop, review, and implement KPIs and performance appraisal systems across the organization.
  • Coordinate learning and development programmes to enhance employee capability and organizational performance.
  • Provide strategic HR advisory support to management and department heads.
  • Oversee leave administration, employee documentation, confirmations, and other HR operations.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and internal governance standards.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, disciplinary procedures, and employee relations initiatives.
  • Prepare periodic HR reports and provide workforce analytics to support management decision-making.
  • Oversee administrative operations, vendor relationships, contracts, insurance, and facility-related matters.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration while promoting a positive, high-performance work culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional HR certification CIPMwill be an added advantage.
  • 7 - 10 years' progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
