Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Project Delivery: Lead multiple projects from planning and mobilisation through to execution and completion.
- Commercial & Financial Performance: Control project budgets, cashflow and costs to protect profitability.
- Contract & Risk Management: Manage contracts, variations and claims, ensuring risks and contractual obligations are addressed.
- Safety, Environment & Quality: Drive SHEQ standards, compliance and audit readiness across project sites.
- Business Development & Growth: Assess tender opportunities and build a pipeline aligned with business capabilities and commercial objectives.
- People & Operational Leadership: Develop project teams, coordinate head-office support and drive accountability for performance.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural or related engineering discipline supported by relevant project-delivery experience.
- Approximately 8-12 years' experience in construction, mining or engineering services, including 3-5 years leading multidisciplinary teams or multiple contracts.
- Engineers Registration Board of Botswana registration, or eligibility with a credible pathway to registration, is strongly preferred. PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is advantageous.
