Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Category Management, or Business Development within the hardware, locks & ironmongery, construction, or building materials industry.
- Proven experience in supplier management, commercial negotiations, inventory planning, demand forecasting, and driving category growth and profitability.
- Strong commercial, analytical, and strategic planning skills with knowledge of product lifecycle management and ERP/inventory management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Category Management:
- Develop and execute category strategies, manage the product lifecycle, and drive product innovation and market growth.
- Commercial & Supplier Management:
- Build strategic supplier partnerships, negotiate commercial agreements, and ensure cost-effective, reliable product supply.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
- Optimize inventory planning, forecasting, stock availability, and turnover while minimizing stock-outs and obsolete inventory.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Finance, and Operations to support product launches, pricing strategies, and technical product knowledge.
- Performance Management & Reporting:
- Monitor category performance, profitability, supplier performance, and market trends while preparing management reports and ensuring compliance.

- Product availability, inventory optimization, and forecasting accuracy.
