• Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Ensure compliance with Ghanaian occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company standards.
• Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Organize and deliver HSE training, inductions, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, pollution prevention, and resource conservation initiatives.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness plans, evacuation drills, and business continuity procedures.
• Maintain HSE documentation, records, and regulatory reports.
• Advise management on HSE risks and recommend practical solutions to improve workplace safety.
• Foster a proactive safety culture through employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in manufacturing, agribusiness, FMCG, logistics, or an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience implementing HSE management systems and ensuring regulatory compliance.

• Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices.
• Excellent risk assessment and incident investigation skills.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence and promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.
