Position: Heavy Duty Repair Technicians (18 Positions) | Location: Kitwe, Copperbelt
Dali Mining Machinery Zambia Ltd is hiring 18 Heavy Duty Repair Technicians / Mechanics to support mining machinery maintenance and repairs in Kitwe.
Location: Chingola Road, opposite Epiroc, Kitwe, Copperbelt Province
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical diagnostics, overhauls, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy earthmoving and mining machinery (LHDs, dump trucks, excavators, drill rigs).
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, and drive trains.
- Conduct regular hydraulic pressure tests and mechanical performance checks.
- Follow established workshop safety procedures and operational standards.
Requirements:
- Craft Certificate or Technician Diploma in Heavy Equipment Repair (HER), Automotive Mechanics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2–3+ years hands-on experience in heavy duty repair within mining or industrial workshops.
- Updated Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) registration.
- Valid Silicosis certification or relevant medical fitness documentation.
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
