Fantastic opportunity for a HR Generalist with an automotive company in Johannesburg

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end hiring, from sourcing to facilitating the onboarding process.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and handling disciplinary matters.
  • Compliance & Admin: Ensure compliance with labor regulations and maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records.
  • Performance & Talent: Coordinate performance review cycles, training, and talent development initiatives.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Assist with payroll administration and explain benefits programs to employees

Requirements:

  • Relevant Human Resources or related tertiary qualification
  • 3–5 years’ experience in an HR Generalist role
  • 1–2 years’ experience in payroll administration
  • 2–4 years’ experience in industrial relations
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing the full B-BBEE function
  • Experience with Sage VIP Payroll (advantageous)
  • Experience within the MIBCO environment (advantageous)
  • Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
  • Experience in the automotive motor industry
