The Human Resource Officer is responsible for developing, implementing and managing all
people-related systems within Redex Food Pack.

The HR Officer will support management in building a disciplined, efficient and scalable
workforce capable of achieving Redex’s operational and growth goals.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Develop manpower plans with department heads
- Create and publish job descriptions
- Coordinate recruitment and interviews
- Conduct candidate screening and background checks
- Oversee onboarding and probation processes
- Maintain talent pipeline for critical roles
- Ensure staffing levels are adequate for production operations
Employee Relations & Discipline
- Manage staff complaints and conflict resolution
- Enforce company rules and disciplinary procedures
- Handle warnings, queries and terminations professionally
- Maintain positive workplace culture
- Ensure fairness and consistency across departments
Performance Management
- Develop and track employee KPIs
- Coordinate performance appraisals
- Monitor attendance and productivity
- Work with managers to improve underperformance
- Recommend promotions, training or disciplinary actions
Policy & Systems Development
- Create HR policies and employee handbook
- Develop SOPs for HR processes
- Standardise onboarding and exit procedure
- Improve organisational structure and reporting lines
- Ensure proper documentation and filing systems
Payroll & Staff Welfare
- Coordinate payroll preparation with finance
- Monitor leave schedules and attendance records
- Administer staff benefits and welfare initiatives
- Manage HMO and staff support programs
- Ensure salary records are accurate and confidential
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws
- Maintain employee records and contracts
- Coordinate workplace safety and compliance documentation
- Support audits and operational reporting
- Ensure proper HR documentation is maintained
