Key responsibilities
Employee relations & welfare
- Handles employees’ grievances, disciplinary issues and conflict resolution
- Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Manage leave, attendance and welfare programs
Talent acquisition and employment
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies
- Manage job postings, CV screening, interviews, and selection processes
- Conduct reference checks and prepare employment contracts
- Coordinates new employee orientation and onboarding
Performance Management
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes
- Support goal setting and performance improvement plans
- Recruit persons with the right attitude to deliver services to clients within and without working hours
Training and Development
- Identify training needs and organize capacity building programs
- Support carrier development succession planning
Compensation and benefits
- Administer payroll in accordance to the Chief Executive officer’s pay structure
- Manage other benefits including health insurance and other incentives
Compliance and administration
- Ensure compliance with labour laws Act, 2003 (act 651) and other relevant laws
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR database
- Prepare HR reports and statistics for management
HR policy Development
- Review and update HR policies, procedures and employees handbook
