Role Description
Business Systems Analysts serve as the crucial link between IT and business stakeholders.
They ensure that:
- Business needs are thoroughly analysed, documented, and communicated.
- Business requirements are translated into functional specifications, conducting also business process analysis to guide the development and implementation of IT solutions.
- Business Systems are thoroughly tested before they are deployed in our Live environment, both internally within IT and through users’ acceptance tests.
- Users are supported in performing the portion of their roles that requires the use of our Business Systems (training, issues resolution etc).
- Business Systems Analysts also support, actively participate in or even drive project management activities (depending on the systems and projects).
Key Responsibilities & Activities
- Serve as a liaison between technical and business teams to align IT solutions with business needs.
- Gather and analyse business requirements including comprehensive business process analysis.
- Create complete, detailed, well-structured and clear functional specifications.
- Organise, Supervise and Perform testing to ensure no or minimal and minor production issues.
- Train users.
- Support timely projects delivery.
- Manage and handle prompt resolution of support tickets to completion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
- Business Systems Analysis and Systems Analysis skills; certifications like CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, PBA, or Lean Six Sigma are valued.
- Analytical Skills and Business Analysis abilities
- Proficiency in defining Business Requirements
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Having worked in an FMCG Manufacturing & Distribution environment is a plus.
