Infrastructure Engineer (Senior)

Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Backend-focused DevOps professional to join a high-performing product team delivering compliant, scalable, and highly available digital solutions. The role focuses on building, operating, and improving backend systems within an agile, cloud-native DevOps environment, with exposure to full-stack development.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in system analysis,solution design, development, testing, and deployment within anAgile/DevOps model
• Design, build, deploy, and operatebackend services using Java and modern frameworks
• Contribute to frontend developmentwhere required, working with Angular-based applications
• Implement automated unit andintegration tests to ensure quality and reliability
• Support production systems as part ofa Tier-3 DevOps operational support role
• Troubleshoot and resolve complexincidents to ensure high availability of critical systems
• Plan and execute upgrades toapplications, tools, and platforms
• Create and maintain systemdocumentation, standard operating procedures, and technical artifacts
• Build cloud-native solutions tosupport scalability, resilience, and business agility

• DevOps & Operations: Production support, incidentresolution, system reliability
• Backend Development:
  • Java
  • Quarkus framework
  • API design and integration
  • Messaging frameworks (JMS, Kafka)
• Databases: PostgreSQL, strong SQL skills
• Testing: JUnit or similar unit testingframeworks
• Containers: Docker (building and runningcontainer images)
• Version Control: Git (GitHub Enterprise)
• CI/CD: Build and deployment pipelines usingGitHub Actions
• Build Tools: Maven

• Cloud platforms: AWS or Azure
• Frontend technologies: Angular,HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Familiarity with frontend frameworksand libraries (e.g. Angular ecosystem, jQuery)
• UX awareness and experience workingwith Figma

• Relevant IT Degree or equivalentexperience
• 5+ years experience in a mid-to-seniortechnical role
• 7+ years total professional IT experience
