Are you passionate about creating exceptional hospitality spaces? We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join a dynamic team delivering innovative restaurant, hospitality and commercial interior projects.
This role offers the opportunity to work from concept through to completion, transforming ideas into functional, visually striking environments while collaborating with project teams, suppliers and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative interior design concepts and presentations.
• Produce mood boards, material palettes and design specifications.
• Plan functional hospitality and commercial spaces with a strong focus on customer experience and operational flow.
• Prepare technical drawings, layouts and FF&E schedules.
• Source furniture, finishes, lighting and décor.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and project teams.
• Conduct site visits and monitor project implementation.
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and agreed timelines.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related field.
• 2–4 years' interior design experience within hospitality, restaurants, retail or commercial environments.
• Strong understanding of space planning, finishes, furniture, lighting and décor.
• Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or similar design software.
• Valid driver's licence with willingness to travel to project sites.

Advantageous Experience

• Restaurant, café, hotel or hospitality design projects.
• Shopfitting, joinery and custom furniture design.
• FF&E scheduling and procurement.
• Working with South African suppliers and contractors.
