Requirements:

Matric certificate.
-
Three-year tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Financial Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in inventory or supply chain management.

Previous supervisory or management experience required.
-
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
-
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Business Central (BC).
-
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-
Experience in chairing disciplinary hearings and handling internal discipline.
-
Valid driver’s license and own transport essential.
-
Willingness to work overtime and on public holidays.
Responsibilities:
-
Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the inventory and supply chain functions.
-
Ensure efficient flow of goods and materials within warehouse operations.
-
Coordinate internal stakeholders to meet operational targets.
-
Maintain accurate inventory records and optimize supply chain processes.
-
Work closely with suppliers, vendors, logistics teams, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Maintain all warehouse records and procedures.
-
Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of all forklifts.

Provide leadership and guidance to supervisors and planners to maintain optimal material levels and achieve cost savings.

Implement and enforce policies and procedures related to inventory and supply chain.

Chair and initiate disciplinary hearings as needed.

Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations and the company’s quality management system.

Train subordinates and develop team capabilities.

Demonstrate effective Industrial Relations (IR) skills in dealing with employees.
