Description

  • We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Officer Pharmacy Technician to manage and oversee pharmaceutical stock.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper storage of medications, and preventing stock shortages or expiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of drugs and medical supplies
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock
  • Ensure proper storage conditions in line with pharmaceutical standards
  • Conduct regular stock counts daily, weekly, monthly
  • Track expiry dates and remove near-expiry or expired products
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems
  • Prepare inventory reports and highlight discrepancies
  • Coordinate with procurement for timely restocking
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • Minimize stock losses, damages, and pilferage

Requirements

  • Diploma or certification as a Pharmacy Technician or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in pharmacy inventory or storekeeping
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and storage requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
  • Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy inventory management
  • Familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems
  • Registration with the relevant regulatory body if applicable
