Description
- We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Officer Pharmacy Technician to manage and oversee pharmaceutical stock.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper storage of medications, and preventing stock shortages or expiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of drugs and medical supplies
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock
- Ensure proper storage conditions in line with pharmaceutical standards
- Conduct regular stock counts daily, weekly, monthly
- Track expiry dates and remove near-expiry or expired products
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems
- Prepare inventory reports and highlight discrepancies
- Coordinate with procurement for timely restocking
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Minimize stock losses, damages, and pilferage
Requirements
- Diploma or certification as a Pharmacy Technician or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in pharmacy inventory or storekeeping
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and storage requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
- Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy inventory management
- Familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems
- Registration with the relevant regulatory body if applicable
