Reporting to the Branch Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing all procurement activities across the business and provide a value-added Supply Chain services.

To establish and manage the Supplier Service Level Agreements, identify new opportunities, and seek and apply ways to improve efficiencies whilst ensuring legislative compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinating and managing all procurement activities across the business.
  • Provide a value-added Supply Chain services.
  • Establish and manage the Supplier Service Level Agreements.
  • Identify new opportunities.
  • Seek and apply ways to improve efficiencies whilst ensuring legislative compliance.
  • Procurement and contract management expertise.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting abilities.
  • Quality-focused and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities.
  • Understanding of procurement principles and procedures.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices.
  • Ability to analyze stock levels and consumption trends.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • Experience with:Purchase requisitions and purchase orders
  • Supplier sourcing and evaluation
  • Inventory control and stock management
  • Goods receiving and dispatch
  • Stock counting and reconciliation
  • Minimum Qualification:Diploma in Procurement/Supply Chain Management.
  • CIPS Level 4 qualification.5 years' experience in a mining, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
  • Computer literacy and experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, Pastel, or similar inventory management software.
  • Valid driver's license.
