Employment Information

The IT Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting all company hardware, office equipment, network infrastructure, and security systems. The ideal candidate will ensure minimum downtime for our office and factory tech ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Office Equipment Maintenance: Setup, configure, and maintain employee laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and intercom systems.
  • Surveillance & Security: Manage and maintain the company’s CCTV camera networks, access control systems, and security logs.
  • Network Administration: Oversee office Wi-Fi, local area networks LAN, routers, switches, and internet service provider ISP connections.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide timely technical support to all staff members regarding software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
  • Asset Management: Maintain an updated inventory of all IT assets, licenses, and components; recommend upgrades when necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND Higher National Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in IT support, network administration, or hardware maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in configuring IP cameras/CCTV systems, troubleshooting Windows/macOS, and basic networking routing, switching, cabling.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications e.g., CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ will be highly valued.
  • Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and good communication skills to help non-technical staff.
