Hire Resolve's client is looking for an experienced technician who can deliver reliable, high-quality technical support to their clients across the JHB region.
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite and remote IT support across various client environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving hardware, software, and network components.
Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure (PCs, peripherals, operating systems, and applications).
Monitor client systems, perform regular maintenance, and ensure proper security and backup measures are in place.
Maintain accurate documentation in our ticketing system and update technical records.
Communicate effectively with clients, managing expectations and providing clear, customer-friendly explanations.
Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and process improvement sessions.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of hands-on IT support experience.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent.
Strong working knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, mobile platforms, and general software applications.
Familiarity with network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) is advantageous.
Experience with cloud services, especially Microsoft 365.
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client service skills.
Ability to work independently and travel between sites.
Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are essential.
