Overview


Since 1991 our client has been packaging and managing the sale of houses in the affordable market – completing numerous developments in various sectors including group housing projects, high-density student accommodation, sectional title projects and industrial sites mostly within townships.


 


They’ve built a portfolio as a reputable developer of homes for households earning too much to qualify for a RDP house, but too little to secure traditional home loans in the private property market.


 


Based in Randburg (JHB), an opportunity for a Junior Bookkeeper to join their team has become available. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with excellent numeracy talent who would like to learn and grow in accounting function.


 


It is a permanent, full-time, in-office role.


Immediately available applications is preferred.


 


 


Purpose of Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for extensive and thorough daily bookkeeping support and tracking. Being comfortable with end-to-end accounting and payroll functions is key to this position.

Qualifications


Education = National Senior Certificate (minimum)


Experience = Minimum of 1-year in a bookkeeping position with a strong focus on numeracy


Accounting and Finance skills, including understanding of accounting principles and practices
