The role supports the drawing office in developing accurate design documentation for the manufacturing of Commercial Trailers, etc. Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Draughting/Engineering Draughting and 1–3 years of experience in draughting or technical drawing required.
Junior DraughtsmanPretoria-EastRequirements:- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Draughting/Engineering Draughting.
- 1–3 years' experience in draughting or technical drawing.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans and layouts.
Key Responsibilities:- Create 2D technical drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and instructions.
- Produce detailed manufacturing drawings including dimensions and tolerances.
- Assist with design revisions and updates to existing drawings.
- Maintain proper drawing control and version management.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and supporting documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and engineering requirements.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams.
