Front of House
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Hospitality, Tourism, or Front Office qualification advantageous.
Experience
- Previous hospitality, lodge, or front office experience advantageous.
- Experience with reservation systems and online booking platforms preferred.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
- Customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy and reservation system knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Minimum Qualifications
- FGASA Level 1 or Level 2 qualification.
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
- Valid First Aid certification.
- Rifle competency and advanced rifle-handling certification.
Experience
- Previous guiding or ranger experience preferred.
- Experience conducting bush walks, game drives, and guest hosting required.
Skills
- Excellent guiding and communication skills.
- Wildlife and conservation knowledge.
- Guest relations and hosting abilities.
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Friendly and professional.
- Passionate about hospitality and wildlife.
- Team-oriented and adaptable.
- Honest, reliable, and responsible.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Working Conditions
- Live-in position at a safari lodge or game reserve.
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Shift work, weekends, and public holidays required.
- Remote bush environment.
