REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Accredited Project Management qualification
• Electrical Engineering qualification (advantageous)
• 1–3 years' experience in Project Management, Project Coordination or a similar role.
• Experience within the EC&I industry would be advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of EC&I installations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Basic understanding of project planning and scheduling.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel to client sites when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the planning and coordination of electrical engineering projects.
• Manage allocated projects under the guidance of the HOD or Senior Project Manager.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules and documentation.
• Coordinate activities between Design, Workshop, Installation and Support departments.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates.
• Attending client meetings and site visits where required.
• Build and maintain professional client relationships.
• Identify project risks and escalate concerns where necessary.
• Assist with project variations, amendments and quotations.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Assist with project close-out documentation and client handovers.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with company quality standards.
