Duties:
Evaluate new product samples against HOLB quality policy and international standards, accepting or rejecting samples as appropriate.
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate solutions when samples are rejected.
Ensure that launched products are safe, brand-aligned, and meet quality requirements.
Review inspection reports and liaise with Inspection Agents to ensure batch orders meet AQL standards.
Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Interface with suppliers to resolve quality issues and verify the implementation of corrective actions.
Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure products comply with ISO, SANS, and IEC standards.
Supervise grading, reworks, and inspection activities.
Assist customer service and technical teams with product-related investigations.
Perform forensic technical analysis of customer complaints and generate comprehensive reports with recommendations.
Conduct pre-shipment and post-shipment inspections.
Inspect manufactured products before dispatch.
Perform ad-hoc duties to support operational needs.
Assist technicians with repairs when necessary.
Requirements:
2 to 4 years of experience in quality assurance or related fields.
Proficiency in report writing and Microsoft Office.
Strong root cause analysis skills.
Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
